Having that 'Healthy Balanced Life'

"Live a life that is well balanced; don't do things in excess." Daniel Smith.

We can all feel like we are being pulled in every direction possible, most often than not!

However, the question still stands 'what is a healthy balanced life?'

Working less? Going to the gym more? Eating healthier? Spending more time with you family?

It depends on you and your current lifestyle and the changes you want to make.

Taking time out to look into your state of mind is extremely important. How do you currently feel on a daily basis? When asking yourself you must be honest and by doing this you will be able to identify the areas of your life you maybe abandoning.

Something as simple as 'Making a list' could help you organise your day from the moment you wake up to when your head hits the pillow at the end of your day. If I write it down I will be more likely to do it, sounds crazy but so true!

We all have good and bad habits. It takes time and effort to overcome your habitual patterns and create new ones.  They say it take 3 months before you crack the new habit. I have to be honest and I would say that’s very true from personal experience. By sticking to your new habit and not forgetting to forgive yourself if you do make errors, will only result in you enjoying a healthy balanced life going forward.

Small steps! Don't make numerous changes at once, again priorities to what will work for you and your lifestyle. Small steps will lead to BIG changes!

Don't just make daily lists, have weekly and even monthly lists. You will be the one to decide the time you need to reach your goals. Don't be afraid to change your ways. If something you continue to do brings you no result, then change it! Unless you identify this you will keep getting the same outcome!

You have to look in the mirror and be kind to yourself. If you want a healthy balanced life you need the foundations and that’s to be happy in your own skin. Let go of all your fears, doubt and worries. Celebrate your achievements and give yourself a big pat on the back and know what actions you need to take to truly be happy and content. By thinking this way, you will catapult yourself closer to a healthy balanced life.
